Nick Koumoutzis is the founder and lead consultant for his company, NCK Industries. Nick brings many years of consulting, training, and auditing experience in multiple facets of quality, environmental and process improvements based on ISO standards including:

  • 30 years of quality management and implementation experience covering multiple ISO standards and Lean/Six Sigma tools
  • A former Process Engineer, Quality Manager and Plant Manager 
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

Now heading up his own firm, Nick's experience, skills, and know-how offer customers an opportunity to use outstanding quality experts for a wide variety of quality management system needs.


Nick teaches QMS, EMS, OHS, Problem Solving and Core Quality Tools courses.


He is an expert in ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949, ISO 14001, and ISO45001, and also conducts 8D Problem Solving training. He is a whiz at deploying SPC, quality tools, problem solving and analysis.


Nick has assisted several manufacturing companies in developing and using metrics to gauge internal performance and reduce process variation. He also helped them develop and implement procedures to reduce operating cost and improve quality and productivity. His diverse background in manufacturing includes the injection molding, plating, industrial fasteners forging, electrical components and basic assemblies industries.
